does anyone have any excercises that could possibly help me to move pencils a fair way, i can spin them, but only very very very slowly (20 mins to spin it an inch from its original position). I tried to use apollo's technique of 'shooting' it with psi, but it only wobbled a little bit.

Dont use a different technique then the one you have been having success with. It just means you need more practice.

If you are using your method to move the psiwheel, then use it to move other objects.

the problem with going from spinning the psi wheel to moving pencils etc, is trying to make it roll or slide, not spin

Yes but thats why you need to practice. You need to learn how to make it go another motion.
