you wouldnt even need the key form, just fill the gap with energy...and it would have to be a force bubble too.......

You would have to have the pins be clicked down to the right height so you would have to know the mechanics behind the lock . But if you knew all that i say very possible.

could'nt you program the construct to push down the pins down and then change the program to telekineticly move the locking cylinder.?

Wouldn't it be easier to just tk the lock on the other side of the door?

I think somewhere on the atricles on psipog it talks about this, not in great detail though. I'd like to try this though... I'll work on it and get back to you. Maybe you could start with simple locks, and work your way up to more complex ones.

The pins that work locks are fairly small and lightweight. It would be a fairly easy, and practical, psychokinetic effect to lift them above the shear line. But pushing them with an energetic key? Not likely. You'd also have to learn the pinset for the core, which is not easily done unless you can take it out of the door.

Okay, it's fairly hard to actually make a physical or semi-physical key.
However, filling the form of the lock with psi-energy and then pushing the pins to the right places in order to make them move is doable. I just went and tried it on a one-pin lock. It takes a LOT of energy, especially when you don't know the pinset for it. But it's doable? |

I can see THIS being abused. |
