Definitely.
And I'm not saying to go out and try it. the lock that I tried on was the one to my own room. But I also found that it's possible to shield a lock from being psi-keyed by anyone but yourself. I asked my mother to key it after I had tied the shield. Although my mother isn't very strong, she can normally do small things, like light fire, and she could key the simple lock. With the tied shield, she could not key it. And you know, I'm sure that there are people out there already abusing this. *shudders* |

you need to be able to push the top pins up past the sheer line then the cylinder will turn freely. I would suggest using a tension wrence rather than using your mind to turn the cylinder though. I pick locks as a hobby and I do it quite well if you have any more questions PM me.
oh yea a tension wrench is a tool that you insert into the base (opposite side of the pins/wafers) and you use it to turn the cylinder. A home made one can be made easily out of many house hold items but it must be metal and it should be able to put up with a slight amount of force. A small flat head screw driver can be bent at a 90 degree angle and used but you nust have a vice to bend the screw driver, or use psi lol. |

Glad to see someone else with the know-how in the topic, Keytops.
And now that we've more or less hijacked the thread, what pickset do you use? I'm a huge fan of my JPXS-6 Jackknife, but I also own a couple others. That one just lives on my keychain and is hugely useful. |
