I didn't say it wouldn't work. Just that it probably wouldn't end the fight in one technique.

I think the chances are greater of defeating someone is with your hands and legs...Throwing another person seems like a "fail then fucked" chance. So I find throwing techniques to be near, faulty if that's the only thing you rely on. Plus, you can give more of a ass kicking with your hands and feet. (If you're fighting a lesser)

You can use pins as well, and strikes on the way to the throw/pin. But my martial art isn't about defeating people, hence the reason strikes aren't necessary.
