I have a video camera. If I can go, I'll record as much as I can. But I'm only 15, and I'll have a hard time convincing my parents to let me go.

Yeah, I wanted to make another thread, but I decided that would be a bad idea.

So yeah I guess the poll option is broken.

I was thinking late July as a possible date. As far as venues:

Hyatt Regency in Dearborn Michigan
Conference Center @ Detroit Metro Airport
Holiday Inn Conference Center (hey it would be CHEAP)

Here are some ones for a SMALL group, which is probably what we would get:
A local park of some type
Reservations at a restaurant, then move to a park or something.
A mall of some type to meet up, then go...somewhere?

If anyone has any other ideas, let me know.

I still need an adult to help me sign. You DO NOT need to be in the state of michigan to sign for most of the rooms.

Sorry, but I wish I could go.

Then again, how the hell would I convince my parents anyway? I'll wait a few years.

Hmmmm...... Late July? I believe you meant early August Very Happy . I'm working at Scout Camp this year Razz . [sarcasm] Yay! I'm so happy about my job![/sarcasm] At any rate, if it's after August 5th, I'd have a much better chance of going. Like from 0% chance to about a 60% chance.

Yes, our English sockets are far more powerful than your puny American ones.

Which brings me on to the point that I like in the UK, and my parents probably wont let me fly to the US to meet all you lovely people.

On top of that, I apparently have to pay for my own transport coast once I?m 17? which will be in less than an hour?s time, by UK time.

Yes siree, Some Fat Guy and I are screwed. We probably wouldn't be able to go to a convention until we are in our twenties. *shakes his head* It just won't be the same... Sad

I would probably have no problem getting there if I could take a bus and stuff... My dad would trust me as long as someone goes with me, but I don't know if detriot is to far for me or what.

I take offense to your comment. I am the brother of Greatwhiteninja, and what he says is true. We have way less freedom then you. We can't do shit. I do agree he did complain, but that doesn't mean you should use such hard words.

You guys think you have it bad! I live in crappy Arkansas, where the only thing besides Wal-Mart is the Wal-Mart museum. I wish I could go to this event, but even if my parents knew about psi they wouldn't let me...
