I've talked to people from my own site, as well as some others I know, and so far Detroit or New York look pretty good.

I'm goin crazy thinking about how awsome this really could turn out to be. There could be like a pk section, telepathy, all different tables or areas set up and that would help tons of people for tk at least. I don't know but awsome freaking job stoney Very Happy , even if I'm not there I'll be happy it got done.

Can someone come up with some "convincer statement" in order to convince young people's parents to let them go? I talked to my mom about it and I didn't get anywhere. I mean this is totally unfair for the young psions because most parents would be like: "Why would we send you out on a plane to some popular city all by your self and then you will go to some convention with tons of 20 year olds who might rape you."

Sounds like a good parent.

I sure as hell wouldn't let my kid go to a city to meet online people.

Changed the poll. Detroit would be easier to plan for. I've already sent some messages out to places for us to host at. Just to get some prices and whatnot.

I will be happy to plan this event for everyone, but It will have to be in the Detroit Metro Area THIS time. If the even DOES get off the ground and we decide to do it again, we can move cities. That's fair isn't it?

Also, if anyone lives in Michigan and is 18 or older, and would like to help me book a hall, that would be GREAT, because I'm 17 and cannot do so. PM me if you want to help.

Hmm, no.

Sorry, but my parents wouldn't take me all the way to Michigan for something like this. In fact, my parents don't take me anywhere. Confused

But, if this does go through, I bet you guys will have a lot of fun.

Um, I can't vote now.

It's because I voted on the earlier poll.

Who ever goes has to do one thing:

Bring a video camera and record a lot of what is going on. Upload it somewhere and share it with all of us!

Good idea! I would love to be the camera man...but #1. I probably won't go.(only because I can't) #2. My camera has some wierd problem where it shuts of when you are recording. (I think it has to do with the fact that I used it in England and they have more power in thier sockets so it screwed it up.)

Yeah she's a good parent alright. My brother's just saying that she's too cautious. Although in this case it makes sense. She barely gives up any freedom though Sad. Other kids get 20X more freedom than I do. I probably wouldn't be able to go anyway. Evil or Very Mad I'd go for the food and to meet other psions. Smile
