I have shields for defense on the outer layers, then i put little random shields on the inside lol.

about my favorie sheild, i really dont have one. i usally keep up 3 sheilds. i have a layered sheild,(bassiaclly 5 layers or bubble sheilds) that was inspired by the spaceship that was shot at the comet(or whatever) along with the tower sheild(i dunno if they have anything on those here) from http://www.psc-online.org/ (a [take a guess] a tower of psibricks[kinof]) and a bubble sheild set to absorb stuff thrown at it(psi not snowballs) and then i have a constuct that i can tell to negate any psionic activity around it (unless i tell it not to) i dont know if that counts as a shield though.
so what is my favorite one? i realy dont have one

i do 6 layered mirrors, only because my friend is pretty good at reading minds.

Layered mirrors can cause trouble...

What happens when the first layer has a crack, and a construct gets tossed through it? It bounces off the second layer, and hits the first layer again. Depending on the programming, it can bounce back and forth between the layers quite a bit.

I think a good shield combination would be,

Outer Layer - Mirror
Middle Layer - Marshmellow
Inner Layer - Bubble

if it doesnt bounce away it get stuck in the marshmellow shield and if it gets past the marshmellows grasp then the bubble is your emergency reserve.

I'd have a mirror shield, a marshmallow, then another mirror.

Now, the mirror on the outside should let things in, but deflect things going out that don't have your sig. The inside one should deflect incoming constructs.

The construct will bounce between the mirrors, and the marshmallow shield should keep absorbing energy from it (and repairing itself and the other shields).

I'd feel safest in this, it should get stronger as more attacks hit it =P.

I use the bsaic bubble shield, with some fancy programming, tends to protect me well enough

i voted mirror since i talk to alot of tricky people who try to scan me or attack me so i have a mirror, bubble and the occaisional marshmallow

oh ya suntzu..you for got the the monthy python also like two shruberies with one slightly higher so it can have a path down the middle(a path! a path!)iy also lives in the castle of Ugghhhhh...along with Brian...and it has the machine that goes "blip". Wink

To tell you the truth, I use my own variation of my own shields that I made, one is based off of the Mirror Shield except it has spikes coming out of it, for a counter-attack...Yes, i've tried this shield out and it does work, but I plan on testing it out more. But under my "Spike Shield" I like to have a simple Bubble Shield just in case. And im going to test out the Marshmallow Shield and Cloaking shields next.

Lol, I no longer use shields at all. I don't seriously get attacked, overloaded, etc., because instead of those, I have a small construct that just absorbs excess thoughts. However, I would like shield layers like this:

Inner to Outer
1.Bubble shield
2.Marshmellow shield
3.Mirror shield
4.Cloaking shield
5.Diffuse, if needed (which it never has been Razz )
6.Force Bubble, if wanted (which I might make later on)

I find if 4-6 and gooey(except for force bubble) and react like how oil does to water, they will be apart and basically just allow things in and out, so they don't get damaged easily.

I keep a cloaking shield as the outer layer, then do a random cycling of a mirror, marshmellow, chaotic ( Tends to mess up programming of constructs ) , and a shield programmed to be like two north ends of a magnet touching when a construct approaches ( Sort of push it away )

i dont really keep shields. very difficult for people to attack me cause i natutrally repell them. but if i did use shields it would be a series of intricate psi "webbing" designed to catch the opposing psi...so diffusion or marshmellow i suppose

Psi Seeker: Shields aren't just for defense from psionic attack. Overload can be just as dangerous.
