What exactly are psi balls? Energy is everywhere, we all know this. I know what I'm going to say next is against the "conservation of energy" hypothisis but I'll say it anyways - we can create energy. Yes, from nothing we can make something. And by "we" I don't just mean some select few weirdos 
, everyone can! Thats what's so great! Ever watch a movie and at the end you feel energized? Or maybe if you've been in love... you can just feel it. You can manifest it from nowhere just from feelings. Sooo... what can we do with this energy? anything...
The basic idea behind psi balls is that you either make or absorb energy. Then, through your special psychic skills , you move this energy into a compact sphere. No, it doesn't have to be a sphere, but it's a good shape to start with. With enough energy, you can start to feel it and with enough practice you'll be able to see it. Am I serious? Oh yeah...
So what are practical uses? Energy can be used for anything... you're only limited by your imagination.
