I once made a sentient cat construct, but it kept bothering my dogs, so I killed it.
Friend of mine made a "wragamuffin" (don't ask) that would bite his neck and crawl around. |

Just beware that energy has to come from SOMEWHERE, and one that is programmed to draw energy without a source will invariably get you into trouble.

Nah, if it drains you gradually, and only takes as much as it needs, you'll probably not notice anything at all. Human body produces more than enough psi for your daily needs, and several constructs.
(Also, my shield does this, and it's yet to wake me up or jolt me at all). |

I have had more than one occasion where a construct that was not properly programmed on how to draw energy has drained me, and on one occasion, another psion (during a pracice session). Constructs programmed to draw energy from you WILL drain you.

That's why you're precise with the programming, SunTzu.
Make sure you program it to take just enough to stay functional. |

So, let me get this straight. You can program what ever you make out of psi to remain as long as you would like and have it do whatever you wish?

That's the idea that some people have. However, it's kind of hard to draw the line on where the psiball stops doing stuff, and where you start imagining everything ![]() |

Yes. For example, programming a construct to do your laundry would be NEAR impossible.
Not saying it is impossible. But you'd need to be godly at PK. |

If you're so worried I've got 2 options for you: 1) -Program it to take psi energy from another source (sun, moon, earth etc.) or 2) -Turn it off before you go to sleep. ![]() |

I know!
Make another construct that hits you when your about to run out of energy then it dissapears OR have the construct that your worried about just die when you have low energy |

only problem with this is that the sun, moon, and earth don't contain psi energy...you would have to program it to convert that energy into psi, or use that type of energy...this is a good suggestion though; that way you don't have to worry about it "feeding" off of yourself. |
