Well, it's not really a technique yet, but Visualization Induced Lucid Dream is something I've been working on. Basically, when I go to sleep, I keep my mind awake by counting or something and then allow my body to relax and fall asleep. Then I visualize something, like an apple or any random object- it seems detailed visualization is very easy when you're relaxed like I am when I'm doing this. And then, I relax and just watch. Kind of. Like if I was visualizing a sword, then I take it and fight someone and then sit back and watch what happens, like in a dream. And it seems like a dream, only not as vivid. Like weird stuff happens just like dreams. Think of it as Remote Presence compared to OBE. It's just not as clear and doesn't seem like you're really there. My question is this: What can I do to deepen this visualized dream and make it into a real dream? I've tried spinning around and everything like you do in a lucid when it's fading, but it doesn't work... anyway, this is the opposite of that, isn't it? Help here would be good, you might be contributing to a new technique! ![]() |

It may be a new variant, but it is basically the visually incubated lucid dream technique.
