Music does not help you but it can help your sub conscious.
For me I was never able to do any pk not even the psiwheel untill I tried it with music. I was listening to Gentle Dawn by Yasahii Yoake but I guess any music that gives you that certain "I can do anything I want" feeling is good. |

my theory on music is:
while listening to a rythmatic and constant sound, it helps you to stop thinking therefore allowing you to enter a clear state-of-mind, as in, it helps you to hear, instead of listen. (theres a difference) and while focusing on a single thing, you are able to achieve full controll over what you're doing (thus reason for music making u do better work and not only that, it also helps you to tune out of reality and into your own little world with you and your psionic goal. |

Possibly, it's just a little ego boost for me but I "drown" myself in music too it's like a weak state of trance. |

Yea, I also kind of drown myself in music to the point where the outside world is completely gone and all that's left is me and my music....I have found this to be my best stress reliever for most of my life so I can perform much better with music. |

I don't think it matters what you hear as long as it's appealing to you. |

The first time I even remotely moved my psi wheel, i was listening to
"Sakuhachi" Which is a japanese flute song. It's great for meditation. |

i've also done this in almost complete silence (just the fan blowing) and i managed to enter into my sub-concious and talk with myself (telepathically) and i was not aware of my surroundings. just basically sorting out whats going on and what do to in the next couple of days. |

yeah music sometimes make me feel very energetic or hyper and that seems to help me fly right into it. It helps me having alot of energy inside of me to focus on because by the time i'm done its all gone. lol did i make sence?

yup, gotta love ska and reggae and subline =D. Personnally, I love trance though. Infected mushroom seems to be one of the best goa psy trance bands. Good stuff.
