Damnit, how can love exist anymore without Steve Irwin? Jeff Corwin isn't fit to wear his boots.
*sniffle* Damnit. I'll miss the crazy guy. |

Hello everyone,
The man wrestled live crocodiles, brutally…and a fish is his downfall… "Crikey! I should have kept my ass out of the water!" In all seriousness, my condolences to Steve’s family and friends. - JoeT |

Poor Steve.
I bet that stingray was an assassin hired by the crocs he humiliated. Insidious reptilian bastards. |

Yea, it just doesn't seem real......I say they put that stingray in the Australia zoo as "The Fish Who Killed a Legend." | ||

Do you see Stingray Hunter in his name? The 10 inch long toxic barb of the Stingray pierced his chest, missed his ribs, and embedded itself in his heart. Stingray Barbs are rarely life threatening, but what are the odds of it hitting him straight in the heart? |

Man, that really sucks. I had this HUGE obsession with him when I was an itty-bitty, so...
Wow. My childhood idol dead from a stingray to the heart. That definitely doesn't seem real. It's like, he could (momentarily) tame creatures descdended from Dinosaurs, and a fish gets him? That's just... Really sad. ...What's also sad is that I still have the "Croc Files" song memorized. Moving on! He was certainly a person that more people should aspire to be like. He did a hell of a lot in 44 years. He was a man that could honestly see the beauty in all critters, be they seriously creepy (Arachnids -shudder-), or truly beautiful (most sea life). And that is something to treasure. So don't mind me, those are the last vestiges of an eight-year-old fangirl. But either way... Damn, that sucks. |
