Damien Joined: 28 May 2006 Posts: 89	This idea came to me when I was thinking about the Area 51 shield a few minutes ago. Does anyone know of a way to alter someone's shield? Like, let's say my friend has a shield up that takes energy from the surrounding area to power itself. Now, how, do you think, would someone else, like me, go about altering the shield's programming to take energy from him to power itself? I realize that it's just programming, but you are programming someone else's shield. Is there something more to it than just reprogramming?

Fakiti Joined: 18 Jul 2006 Posts: 336	Yeah. You would have to "fight" the shield, unless it was programmed to let you reprogram it. You'd have to use more energy than the shield has, therefore overepowering it. It's easier to use a construct to corrupt the programming so you can program it, but that may be considered combat so I'll shut up now.
