i have a question. if i send a message with a psi ball at some one, will other people hear it? for example say i program a psiball to say 'hello' and send it to some chick in a mall full of people, then will she be the only one to hear it or will everyone else hear it too? basically, when she asks who it was can i call her crazy?

Probably. It'd be like telepathic messages, like a hallucenation when it comes to sound.

she wont hear a damn thing unless you come and whisper it in her ear while shes at the checkout line. you can, however, try to ping her and see if she notices you. good luck at either one. and get some game while ur at it.

how about if you just try to ping a message. use simple telepathy. the message will obviously have to be some sort of sensation, unless she can read your 'mind language' (if you know what I mean by that.)

the question asked is rediculous. will they physically hear it? i mean cmon? did you say it? did you vibrate the air around their ears to make that sound? no. read up on the n00b articles

no cause i thought that if you sent a message within a psiball, then when the psiball hit its target, then the message will be 'broadcast' to all people near it. also i meant mentall thought hearing not physical

You're fucking stupid! You can hear noises that never been produced, it's classified as a hallucenation, produced by the mind. It'd probably work with what Arcadus is aiming for.

yay! somebody agrees with me! neveza! ur so cool! tah for backing me......so hallucinations can be done with simple psiballs with telepathic programming...interesting. i would have thought that that would require 'planting' images in ones mind....somewhat of a high level telepathy skilll...

Physically "hearing" is only the act of the ears feeling vibrations and the mind turning it into something that you can interpret. So, in essence, you should be able to skip the part of the ears and let your mind make the other person('s/s') mind(s) "hear" it without the vibrations. Sort of like TPS for them to hear something that they don't.

It's called forced hallucination. And you could vibrate the air molecules or whatever and make sound if you were good enough, but it would be hard to do and take a long time. Also, you wouldn't be able to control the sound's pitch or make a voice unless you were REALLY good.
