Just wondering if anyone else on PsiPog practices parkour. I've been practicing for 4 months now and can't get enough of it lol.

I've seen videos of it, that one video on google top 100 videos is especially amazing. Those crazy russians. It seems like a cool hobby/sport.

Heres that vid:

I'm not sure why there is french involved...I'm pretty sure they speak Russian at the end...

Yeah cool vid. There is also a parkour related movie called 'Banlieue 13' , it's a French movie and David Belle, the parkour legend is starring in it. I watched it at my friend's place and it is one of the coolest movies I've seen Razz

I used to practice parkour. I had to stop though, because I dont live in the city and there was no where to practice and I didnt really have time. Maybe when I get older. It is really cool.

I do parkour a lot. I find it the most entertaining way to move around. It also gives the people around you an entertaining event in their day. I'm not that great, but I still love to do it.

Parkour is awesome! I have been practicing for a month or two and it is amazing. Parkour has provided a fun way to stay fit and a new outlook on life. For those of you in Canada, PKTO.ca Is the or one of the largest parkour groups in Canada. This is also a large Parkour network. Parkour.net

Nice to see you guys also like parkour. Yeah it is a new way of life, it just gives such freedom! And the people's faces - they probably think we are nuts.

Actually i usually go practice with some people at the U of Waterloo (not that many of you will know where that is) and most of the people that notice what we are doing are quite interested in it Very Happy I guess we get the odd weird stare and the last time i went to practice, someone called the campus police because they thought 'those crazy people are going to kill themselves' Razz but hey, who cares we are doing something we like.

Me and 2 friends got caught by our school headmaster once... We were jumping on the school roof and he climbed out the window and asked what the hell are we doing Very Happy Luckily he let us go and didn't call the cops Razz

There is French because parkour made in France. Also, I practice it. Parents aren't real supportive, even though if you do it correctly and take precautions it isn't THAT dangerous. I've only broken a finger from it. I get more injuries from martial arts a month. For new people interested, take it slowly and work on the basics. Dont try vaulting off the top of a building if you can't even do a roll on ground level without knicking your head on the pavement. Precaution will get you a long way. It's a great way to excercise and is really thrilling to do. That russian climbing video is awesome by the way. I have yet to see anything close to that good in real life.

I've been trying to start doing parkour, but unfortunately I live in the country about 1.5 km from the city so I've nowhere to practice Mad
