I, for one, would like to see all posts on a topic in one page... Perhaps a preferences section for each user?

Yes, I agree. The pages thing was only for the lower speed users...years ago. Now most have DSL and cable.

Or I would suggest, not to make many pages into one (think of a topic made of 20 pages) but each page to have bigget capacity.
