First post, hello to everyone, love the site I've noticed that when I practice psionics (I like to try various abilities, but I'm mostly interested in telepathy/empathy) I almost always get a tingly feeling on my chest, like the one you get when your excited about something. Now I haven't really gotten results with the stuff I practice, but I'm patient and I know they may take a while to work. I've just started to practice on a regular basis. My question is, can this feeling prevent me from obtaining results on what I'm trying to achieve, and, is this common for those who practice psionics? Thanks in advance |

It is definetly possible that being over-excited could halt you from having success', however, this is something that is quite common. More often than not, usually people get really excited after having a success and fail after a few good hits But don't worry about it, just keep practicing , try and stay calm and focused (if you're receiving, stay relaxed and focused). You'll get your results soon Good luck to you. |

I agree with everything that sheepking said. Also, to gain control over your emotions furthur, try motionless meditation (search boards) which will help increase your control and concentration! |
