I disadvise placing a hole in the middle.
Don't feel stupid lol, I had a hard time with it too, the last step for me was hazy, you know where you put the opposite ends together? Keep fuckin w/it till you get it I guess. |

yes, definetly DONT put a hole in it. This will make it so much harder to move. Anyways, if you are using the paper version it is so easy, but with the foil squares it is the most annoying and tedious thing to do. Keep trying and you will eventually get it!

I found, when making a foil one, that if you make a paper one first and use that as a guide to make the other one, as in folding and getting the right size, it's a lot better than if you make it without.

you can make only 2 folds to the paper to make it balanced on the pin . if you can make any folds on the paper to make it get balanced on the pin it is ok . but dont make hole on the psi wheel it will be hard to spin . |

And by guide, I mean to have a prefolded paper and lay the foil on that and fold it with the paper. mine was really good when i made it like that.

I was kinda suprised when I first saw the "psi-wheel." Before I found psipog, I had been into origami for a while. The psi wheel turns out to be a base fold for something called the "water-bomb." I just found instructions on google, pretty thorough directions I'd say.
