If you want lightning, make the main bolt a little less thick, make the glow less, and don't make the bolts curvy. They feel more lightning-ish if they're not curvy.

I figured this is the place to ask:

My friend wants me to alter some pictures to make them look closer to the characters in her book. And it's easy stuff, just it doesn't seem to want to be opened in photoshop. I dont understand...

I have aol and a mac. so maybe it's just disagreeing with my mac-yness??

It's my favorite so far! I just made one too, but it's for my CJ site. And just basically has a sketch of mine on it.

I really like misty, smokey, kinda designs. And i like the little demon looking face.

sayspo and barthooper- neither of your avatars are showing up. This could be because you're linking to an offsite area that has the avatar, and doesn't want you using it. My solution to the problem? Get a free photobucket account and upload there.
