If I remember correctly.. Which I have no idea if I do.. I thought I remembered reading something about some sort of device that lets you achieve astral projection.
They explained it like you put the device on or near your head or something, and as you drift off to sleep it will either glow red or make a little noise or something that will wake your conscience mind while you are still sleeping. Has anyone else heard of this before or am I just crazy? |

Not that i've heard of. the only stuff i've seen that can help with out of body experiences (i hate saying astral projection) are the brainwave generator and the gateway experience.

I have never heard of what you talked about but there are cds or audio downloads which play certain "sounds" that supposedly get you out of your body in 11 minutes or whatever it is.....

I think you're talking about the Nova Dreamer. I heard about it as a tool for lucid dreams, not OOBEs. There are many types of devices that do the function you are describing, but they usually are supposed to be programmed to make a noise or blink during your REM period, so that you become lucid.
The gateway experience, which I am over half way through, is more about self betterment then OOBEs. It has many tools in it, but OOBEs aren't the main topic. They are but one of many things it covers. So far, I am very impressed with the gateway experience, it is a great way to get experience with altered states of consciousness. |
