Ok, could you make a psi ball(a strong one) that could block out light? It would only block out light and not emit light like flaring. It would look like a ball of shadow if you did it right. I tried it today and the area in between my hands shimmered and got darker. Would doing this be easier to do than flaring? If so then you could show how you can make a psi ball without having to flare it.

Also. I have not tried this but could you make a shield that could block out sound? Sound is only vibrations in the air so could it dampen them or block them completely? Or would it have to be a force bubble? Just a thought.

I tried a sheild to block out the sound of an annoying lawnmower. It kinda worked. The lawnmower quieted down but just a little bit.

Why not? If they can emit light by releasing energy, they should be able to 'suck' light by absorbing energy.

Sounds cool. If anyone does it, I'd love to see it.

Supposably, Diffusing light is easier then emiting, so blocking is possible if you can diffuse it.

I have heard mention of a lantern that emits darkness in certain peoples' visions. I don't see why one couldn't manifest one in reality

for light to exist....there must be darkness....(you cant define light without the existence of darkness)

Actually, without light, there could be no darkness, but light can exist without darkness.

Darkness is the absence of light, which is caused by things blocking out light (shadow). With more sources of light, comes less shadows, and therefore less darkness. It could be possible one day, that nothing could be covered in darkness.
