Lol, everybody starts off as a noob. That's what Psipog is for silly!

I've heard of people doing it on a screw, but it does sound like it may turn by itself. If I were you I would use a pushpin.
I would also, for now, try and spin the Psiwheel without the glass over it, it will deffinently make it easier, and therefore boost your confidence in Psionics, which will in the longrun make it easy to do it under the glass at a later date.

Have fun!

Here's an easy way to make one. You need foil and toothpick.

1. Scrunch up a small ball of foil.
2. Flatten the bottom of it.
3. Shove a tooth pick in it.
4. Put a piece of flat foil on top of tooth pick.

Heres a pic I took with my shitty web cam.

Why would the screw turn the psiwheel? The only thing I'd think would be a problem with a screw is that it might be too wide for it.

I use a pin I got from my mum's sewing room and put it through the bottom of an eraser so that it'll stand up. (It's a Kow eraser so it has legs. I also be headed it because it obstructed the psiwheel). Then I either use foil or paper as the psiwheel. If you're new, I recommend foil.

yeah I don't see how the screw "turns it by itself" or anything. I use a screw but I'm past the psiwheel for the most part. Didnt run into any problems. Might get stuck every now and then but its the easiest thing to use because it has a flat bottom so you dont need to stick any toothpick into any foil or anything Razz

For mine, you use an eraser and a needle. The thing is, a psi wheel can be made out of almost anything. Im sure you could do it with a screw, and no matter what, I know everyone has products in there house that could make a decent psi wheel. Just be creative.

I used an audio cable adapter:

Works great, but the head is quite wide.

If anything the screw makes it harder imo, but that also depends on what kind of screw your using.

I use a small psi wheel (of which i can finally spin pretty damn well)
This one consists of a thumb tack and a pretty small wheel made out of printing paper.

I also use a larger one, about 2.5 x 2.5 and use a 1 inch tall screw (threaded) the tip is pretty pointy, but not as pointy as the tack..which basically makes the larger one even harder to spin since I'm trying to ease friction on a larger base...but it is possible, and if you want to get good at illiminating the size factor, go for it.
