What is the one thing that determines whether you are able to use Psi or not? Your belief in it. Well, if you don't believe in it, you might wind up using it for a thing or two here and there without knowing, but you get what I mean.

However, belief in psi itself isn't the only belief you can posess. What about wiccans who perform magick? Is their magick different from psi? Or is it simply a different belief system that uses different procedures to do what they are trying to do with it?

Look at people who pray to God or some other diety. What if their prayers come true because they are using psi without knowing it. Their belief in their praying causes them to utilise psi, just with a different method of using it than we have.

What if I were to take this little theory a step further and say the following.

What if, through man's belief in a higher power, he psionically formed one for himself. What if our dieties are nothing more than immensely powerful psionic entities created by the mass of human kind's beliefs in them.

Here is the question that will really get you thinking.

Did God create man? Or did man create God?

Religion isn't allowed?

I apologise if I offended anyone.

Lol, is our belief in Psi not a religion in a way?

In my opinion, believing in psi does not directly affect religion. However, with a topic like this, I can smell thread lockage coming.

Why do people lock threads? It'd be cooler if they were "zipped" or, "mutilated" or "raped".
This thread has officially been raped. Wink KURCHING

I am going to have to lock this thread, because it DOES pertain to religion in a great deal. Sorry guys.

A clarification:

My belief in Psi is not a religion, and I doubt many of us here, if not everyone would disagree with me.

I do not worship Psi, I do use it to explain my death or the afterlife, and I do not use it to explain my existance or where I came from Razz.

Psi is a tool, a skill, a discipline. Something you can learn to benefit you or for amusement, and to perhaps better understand reality. Smile
