I've been led to believe that you absolutely cannot turn on a light in your dreams. It didn't matter much to me, because I never did try anyway. And now, for the first time in...EVER, I tried and you know what? THE LIGHT WENT ON. Why?

Why couldn't you turn a light in your dreams? Seems less complicated than flying, yet you can still do it Smile.

No...He meens that uselly electronic iteams dont work in dreams, so if he turned on a light it wouldnt turn on he would know he is dreaming

Dreams are pretty shifty. Sometimes common reality checks dont really work.

I always know if it's a dream by looking around the area(if I know it) then looking at my hand. If all goes well but I know that I'm dreaming then I know it's a precog.

I never think to check to see if I'm dreaming. It always seems so normal, always. Even if nothing is normal.

Very rarly do I notice something could only happen in a dream, but when I do it's definatly rewarding Wink

Anyway, why wouldn't you be able to turn on the light? its all created by your mind, the only reason you wouln't be able to is if you know your in a dream and think electricity wont work for some reason.

Its not that they never work, its just that its a fairly commen dreamsign. If a light ever fails to turn on, or a switch to work, question reality. Do at least two reality checks, becuase one can fail in a dream, two can as well, but is safer.
