I never have actually practiced to get better at it, but sometimes I have lucid dreams anyway. The last time I did, and some times before that, I haven't had complete control. The last time, there was a locked door. I though, this is no problem. This is a lucid dream. I can just walk through it, right? No, I couldn't. I couldn't get through it. After that, I either "forgot" it was a lucid dream, or I woke myself up. I think it's weird to be dreaming and know you are dreaming so sometimes when I have a lucid dream, I'll be like, Oh, no, I'm dreaming and I can't move! And then I'll breath really loudly to wake myself up, because I've found that works really well. And then I'll think, Darnit! I could have tried dreamwalking or something! So, anyone else have weird things like this happen in lucid dreams?
Wow, now you probably all think I'm insane or something. ![]() |

I've had a few lucid dreams in my day. Most involve me going around doing normal every day things in my house. For some odd reason I generally cannot control everything/anything. I can do telekinesis, sure... but it takes a lot of effort and doesn't do too much.
When I wake up I always end up in some sort of room and I tell myself to wake up. I try to stop it, but I never do. I never really forget that it's a dream for too long so that's not a problem. Just the two I didn't describe so well up there. |
