Does listening to music actually affect it? - If yes, what sort of music would be best?

I find that when listening to Pink Floyd, the psiwheel spins quite easily, but that might be just my mind wanting to believe it's that way.

with me its weird. sometimes i cant concentrate w/music and sometimes the psi wheel will go nuts. i usually listen to metal. but i guess there are somethings that just activate ur sub-c and for some ppl listening to music is one of them. so keep on listenin to pink floyd when u practice. o btw sometimes my sub-c can get kind of testy and it will want some other artist or type of music so just try different things and see what works best. good luck! Smile

Just listen to something you enjoy and calms you. It isn't required but it can help. Psychokinesis is all about relaxation.

Just listening to ome other similar music and it doesn't seem to work so well. I think it's my mind that wants certain things to work and not others... Sad

songs effect your emotion like feel love , hate , revenge , stronge and so on , with emotion you can empower your pk but you might dont control your power because your concentration on increasing or trying to feel much more emotion , so your power will not be concentrated on the object that you need as you are disturbed with increasing your emotion level .

In my opinion, music makes you lose focus. I calm my mind and try to focus on the task at hand and when suddenly some creep start's yelling nonsense (japanese) from my speakers... it kinda throws me off. Rolling Eyes

yea... but j-pop/rock owns though^^.

haven't tried to do it with music yet... i'd imagine 60dbs would be ideal to get better focus becauseis the rythm of yourr heartbeat.

I get the same results. When I try to do TK, I find it more difficult to succeed without music. Personally, when my mind is less concentrated on moving the psiwheel, I can move it. Music may be a way for your mind to kind of relax and take over for you by distracting you. Only certain types of music will work for certain people; for example, somebody who likes classical a lot will probably have better results with classical music in the background. We should test that.

I listen to Pink Floyd alot while practicing PK. I find it keeps my focus without drawing my attention.

I listen to 'glass prison by Dream Theatre' while practicing Pk, i think it probably just works for me because i find it such a brilliant song and for some reason, it helps me concentrate.
