the first night i tried to OBE, which was about three or four days ago, i was actually moving along pretty well. i used a relaxation technique i read in the articles. nothing happened for, i'd say, about half an hour, but then my whole body suddenly went numb... a wave of it ran up my body. shortly after that, i could feel something weird in my head... sort of like i was sitting up, but not quite. i could see flashes of the ceiling above my head, with stark detail. i couldn't get myself totally out though, i felt like there was a barrier between my head and the outside world, right where my eyes were. the "vibrations" i think everyone talks about were pretty intense too.

every night after, i've fallen asleep before my body went numb. i just can't get to that same level of half-consciousness. (maybe i should try in the mornings like i've seen suggested elsewhere.... Idea

)

so what does everyone think? just mad luck? or maybe the incense i burned? Laughing

the numbness and vibrations above the eyes you mentioned describe a technique he has: focus and increase the vibrations send them throughout your entire body until you astral body is shaking out of control and you will be launch into space (for all of you who want to know what it feels like to ble blasted out of a cannon Wink
