What aspect is easiest for newbies? Some say that levitating an object is easier because there is no friction but then there is the complication of the weight. Or is there another technique that is easier? Should I do some Micro-TK? Psi balls? A psi wheel? I need some help.

I am fairly sure the community here is agreed on the idea that PsiBalls are easiest to start with. TK takes two weeks on average for good results, and levitating is something even people who are proficient at TK struggle with. Micro PK is fairly easy to accomplish as well, but getting a feeling for the energy used in psions by making psiballs is probably a better starting point. Read Peebrains' psiball article. I'll even give you a link:
