Naming coincidences don't happen like that.

Sometimes they do. "Stargate" could be interpreted to mean various things. It could be used to refer to a literal "gate" that allows for interstellar travel (as in the sci-fi series, correct me if I'm wrong).

It can also be interpreted to mean a way of viewing things "shielded by space or time," as mentioned in the definition of Remote Viewing. However, it IS possible that, after Project STARGATE was made known to the world by Ed Dames in '89, the guys who made the film saw the name, and thought it would be a good title for their sci-fi story. It's possible, but unlikely.

What you appear to be saying is that the guys who ran the STARGATE project had a hand the sci-fi series, or vice-versa. That's like saying that Fredrick Smith told Roentgen about the rays that ruined his photographic plates (X-Rays). That, as most of us know, isn't true, because Smith and Roentgen probably never even knew the other existed!

So yes, naming coincidences DO happen like that.

you know that waves in the air get through your brain all the time and the brain working electrostatically absorbs them and is being synchronised unconsciously?
