in the remote viewing manual the "advanced remote viewing" part...it says it doesnt require an extra person or any coordinates...just you and your target...this isnt following any protocol, so how is this remote viewing?

It's not, technically. I would argue that "advanced" remote viewing would require a more in depth protocol, if anything.

Because the definition of remote viewing isn't clear cut. Under Joseph McMoneagle's defintion, there is no conflict. Under other definitions, there is a conflict.

"Remote viewing is the ability to produce information that is correct about a place, event, person, object, or concept which is located somewhere else in time/space, and which is completely blind to the remote viewer and others taking part in the process of collecting the information."

I don't think "they're dumb" is really a viable position to hold. They prevent you from being able to cold read or wank a session.

If you decide to become more serious about RV other than a side hobby, it would benefit you to use coordinates and stricter protocols. As Elliptic said, they serve a good purpose, and are designed to make you more accurate/skilled.
