Is it really abnormal to get objects to move on the first try?
I made put a needle through a matchstick and have it dangling by a string inside of a two-liter bottle. The day I made it I could see a slight movement in the needle. Now, it moves quite a bit more.
I've read about all these people finally succeeding after months of trying, so I wanted to know if succeeding on the first try means that I'm crazy or if it's just normal and that I've just got an open-mind.

Indeed, there seems to be a lot of noobs flooding in with 'the gift' lately, im one of them apparantly, i think that the members that have been with psipog longest are helping noobs to believe, thats whats making them easier to move things not long after trying, but there are a lot of lieing noobs out there.

Well, I'm a n00blet, a week in the making, and I don't have "the gift". I think it's all about believing, because once I did, things started to work for me.

I was using 'the gift' as a meterforical term, what i ment by 'the gift' was a true sense of belief in Pk. Thats what makes it easier to do Pk.

there is no "gift". You are not more special than anyone else. You just happened to have learned faster. If you can move anything on your first try, move a car! I wanna see that! (not meant to be rude and no sarcasm intended)

very true. It is also in all humans though so you (not you specifically) are not special.

thats on a shirt, and its kind of old/stupid/boring and im sick of it.

So yeah you might have a knack for it. Try moving it under a glass. it doesnt make it harder, just makes it 100% tk. also, before you practice, blow really hard on the glass to see if the pinwheel moves underneath to see if air can flow. Its best if it doesnt move when you blow hard.
