is empathy really all that usefull i mean wuts the point of sensing someone elses emotions?unless its a girl(i never know how there feeling)then theres no uses
but i might be mistaken is there anyone here who has gotten very good uses out of this

I find that empathy is very useful,as you stated it is useful to see how people feel about you, say you like a girl and you wish to know how she feels around you then it is good for that, but it is also good in everyday situations because if you know how someone is feeling then you know how to act around them for example if someone is upset you know not to dance around being the happiest person alive in front of them so to speak lol It is quite hard to explain but being empathic gives me a sense of having a better understanding of the environment and people around me and therefore i am able to help people and understand them better.So as a whole empathy is useful but it can sometimes be bad if it gets out of control but i won't lecture here Very Happy well hope that is a help to you.

Empathy not useful? You might as well say what's the point of breating through your nose if you can do it through your mouth.


The goal of all communications is to receive the message from that person.

The goal of all questions is to get the true answer.

Emapthy makes sure that you correctly interpet that communication. For not only are you hearing their words your feeling their emotions.

Empathy allows you to feel the true answers behind questions. Isn't a skill that gurantee's that you can sense the truth and the hidden communication behind all things useful?
