Don't RV and Telepathy potentially interfere? I thought about asking my partner to try practising with me by choosing an object or writing a word down and then I'd attempt to view it. But there's a potential cross over there as if I got it right (some chance!) it might have been telepathy... It only really occured to me when I thought about doing it with him, but the same priciple applies if I'm practising via the forums. Also doesn't the person you're working with have to be good at 'attaching' the co-ords to the image? Agh now I'm confused Confused I suppose it isn't a problem if you are RVing something where no-one else is involved. And then you could say, if you get the info, who cares how? But if I'm trying to practise one and getting muddled up with the other..... Sad

If you want to practice RV, then RV a thing that you don't know about. If you want to practice TP, then try to TP somebody while they can communicate with you. I wouldn't say that they cross, rather can be confused with.

Ingo Swann, one of the original STARGATE viewers, once wrote a paper on the phenomenon of Telepathic Overlay. Essentially, he supported the use of a double-blind in order to prevent the telepathic transfer of information from interfering with remote viewing - telepathic results could be misconstrued as RV when they were, in fact, telepathic in origin.

Because I'm such a sexy beast, I found the article for you.

Here you are.

I would note that my only real disagreements here are on the grounds that it seems the percentage of our population with telepathic ability of any worth is much smaller than we initially assumed - still, when considering the cross-section of telepaths within the communities, and the fact that telepaths tend to be attracted to any number of "information acquisition" talents, we can see where this is a problem of concern.
