Does anyone else here take their training a step beyond? When I train using psi balls or train anything pertaining to psi I put my body in areas it is harder to concentrate. A really hot room, hanging the upper half of my body off of the bed and keeping straight while I do it. Hanging upside down. Does anyone else do this? Do you believe it helps development? | ||||||||||||||||||||||

A determained and focussed mind is what helps faster development. Pushing yourself can do harm. It can even hinder your skill if you overdo it. Then again, the more you practice, the better you get. It's just finding the line between fast development and bodily harm.
(edit) Think about it, if you did psi balls constantly for days on end, you would collapse of exhaustion. |

I dont think it helps...
Imo To learn faster, you must stay relaxed and your methods makes staying relaxed quite hard. Wich means your method makes learning slower. The best way is to just let it go, training "for all cost" will cause a big harm and you may be even unable to do anything with your psi. For example, when you want to be stronger physically, you start with a light weightlifting instead of lifting 100 kg at start, else youre gna break your bones and you wont be able to carry anything. |

I find my self trying not as hard as I can do but alot more frequently. If I try to hard my head tends to hurt and then im upset for the rest of the day |

I'd say harder training, and more frequent training, will definetly help you get better at psi. The more you focus on developing your skills the more you will think about they way you perform them. You will develope new and hopefully better methodology, and build the habit of practicing.
About putting yourself in "uncomfortable" positions... I suppose it would increase your concentration, at least in times of discomfort |
