A small tip for everyone. Levitation is actually easier to do than dragging objects. Dragging causes friction whice is an adverse effect on psychoknesis.

If you say so, but I certainly can slide a object better then levitate...because I never levitated a object.

Sargent... sure you have to overcome friction, and hopefully nobody is trying to move sandpaper, but gravity is a much harder force to overcome than friction.

To levitate something you need to apply that upwards force and pressure, not only to overcome gravity, but constantly. It's like shifting a book but without stopping.

And how would you know this? Psipog is a site based off experience. Do not post things that you yourself have not experienced. If you have experienced this, please post a video. |

Does it not take less effort to slide your hand across the table than to pick it up and move it?

What???? Friction is easier than gravity, since gravity is constant, and friction isn't that constant. Gravity is a ton of force coming down, and you'll need to produce more force to beat gravity...

Ok, let's settle this (even though it seems pretty one-sided).
Who has slid an object, and who has levitated one? |

Well, maybe it is only a mental block that tells us levitation is so much incredibly difficult? If you can slide a pencil, you should be able to levitate the lead of the pencil, just an idea. But I'm willing to bet its a strong mental block. Not to dispute the more knowledgeable ones on the subject, it's just a thought.
