I really need some advice about stopping empathy. The situation has reached rocks being thrown at my windows because of my thoughts (misunderstandings). I?m in crisis mode and am leaving town on Friday. Is there anyway to turn down the volume? Please respond

Heya there, the best way for dealing with stray empathic projections/readings is to shield. And when I say shield I mean to create an actual shield. A nice large and high powered shield would do well. Program it to block all emotions coming in and out. THat would work. If you need to, you might need to ground and center. But make sure you maintain the shield though, don't let it slip. Hope that helps.

I have read and practiced the articles on shielding here with no luck. The piece on inner shields mentioned something about having a shield stuck in your head (worded different). Could that cause irrational thoughts or unpredictable translations?

sorry to talk about religion, but are the rock throwers in any way religious? cause i have had my share of run-ins with that crowd. maybe they think you are trying to "get the power of the devil" or something...

or maybe i'm just wrong.

That link says if your eyes are fixed your mind stays still. Anyone ever tried to focus a shield on their eyes to block empathy?

I take some notions from it, what do you think about it? Being able to step away from all thoughts was the key I needed. Shields have improved, thanks for the help everyone.

i really don't know what to think about it.

perhaps ask the people who are stoning your house why they don't like you.

or read their minds, but that may escalate things.

it's your choice.

i am however, sorry for your experience. hope things pick up.
