I inserted some ads in the forums. Basically: the trends showed that the forums wouldn't be making enough money to support itself. So, more ads. Yeah it sucks, but the fact of life is that shit costs money Smile.

I tried to keep it neat and not annoying.

Is that why theres a horrible add thing when you click on a board about 6 topics down, in between the topics ? or is that an error ?

hey,
First of all i'd like to say, congratz on the new forums... been waiting for this a long time. The ads aren't too bad, they're very small and only take up a bit of space and seem to be very neatly put into place.
You could also insert the ads all the way at the bottom of the page as I?ve seen in a lot of other forums?just a suggestion.

Great job on the forums

Anything to keep the site running. Well, almost, since I have no money. They're not really anooying either, though every once and a while I see them and forget what they are.

Does PsiPog have a PayPal account where people can donate money?

Google AdSense requires just clicks, no buying. Peebs gets like 6 cents or something for every click. Its how the old internet advertising industry was before it went *poof* in like 2 days.

So, basically, if we were to keep clicking one of the links and closing out of the linked page repeatedly for a few minutes, he would get a couple dollars?

No, they usually only accpet one clik per ad, per IP address.

Heh, I don't know if it's just me using Mozilla FireFox or not, but when I'm viewing the viewforum.php script I see ads right where the actual topics are. It's a nifty idea to get people to look at them. Laughing

This reminds me. How much does it cost to host Psipog and all its attributes? When I go to college, expect money from me via paypal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
