Hmmm... looks pretty real, unless someone was pulling the ring with some string. I don't think what he is saying is what determines whether it is fake or not, just to look out for loopholes in the "potential" trick it could be. Im not really sure to be honest.

I couldn't make out the last two seconds of the clip, but I'm pretty sure they were not saying it was all a trick.
Translation Person with Video camera (PV): Are you going to do it with your hand? Guy with Glasses (GG): Doesn't matter GG: A Ring and one rubber band (Stretches rubber band) GG: Ready? PV: Yeah, now I'm ready GG: Now come?s the Magic. I'm going to make the ring go up the rubber band. PV: Wow... GG: Yup PV: How are you doing that? GG: By trying (Looks closer at the ring) GG: more, more, more GG: It drains me, drains me PV: with patience (Stands up) GG: Good! PV: (?) GG: (?) |

Well it does look cool. I can't tell if it's fake or not, but I was watching one of his other videos. He made a rabbit come out of an empty box. So that tells us that he is a magician. You can't really trust magicians because of their illusions.

This IS most definitely a magic trick. I know how to do it, and it's not through PK. Of course, it's still a cool trick, so I won't ruin it for you.

If you look close on one of his other videos you see he slightly pulls the string. As he pulls the ring goes up, nifty.

I used to love magicians. Don't as much now. It's like they're mocking us!

yeah I know this trick, you don't have to be a magician for it, and it is not PK

Ya, notice its a rubberband. As a rubberband stretches, it spreads out more. The ring is connected to one part and it is being stretched out. It creates the effect of the ring moving. Nice trick though. |
