Can music enhance psi in any sort of way. Say if you meditated with your favourite music, you can drown out all the crap you get on the outside world that can irritate you and break your concentration.

As i'm posting this today, this whole day has been nothing but obnoxious noises, distractions, annoyances, etc. I haven't had any time to spin my psi wheel atleast once Sad I'm irritated.

Usually when I put music on, i drown out everything around me. I am relaxed, feeling the flow of good music, and probably gaming out on the computer. I guess a good question would be, has anyone else tried this yet?

I've heard both ways, but more commonly that its distracting. In my experiance, its too easily distracting if it has lyrics, but thats just me. Some people find it helpful. A lot of people like ambient kind of music, or sounds like water flowing.

I've found that, depending on what I want to do, on nights where I feel slightly 'drained' energetically, different music has put me in the mood.

Depends on the situation for me, sometimes a bit of music does the trick - other times complete silences and introvertion helps.

Oh, Listening to it just before practice has helped too. When really stressed out, using music to filter my thoughts towards a different thought-stream - then quietning that mental noise down, works when nothing else will. [Also, a cure for insomnia too...]
