I'm new to the forum, as well as the world of psychokinesis and the like. Thus, I'd like to introduce mysellf. To be short: I figured these may help some of you; they've helped me to achieve my success to a degree.
| Code: |
| - With regards to spinning a pinwheel: I've found it fairly helpful to focus only on influencing the direction of rotation, as opposed to actually spinning it myself. I do this by having a fair air current in the room, maybe not enough to spin the wheel by itself but enough to keep it going once you start the process. Try to influence the direction of the wheel; you'll find, also, that once you're confident you can influence it in any respect that it becomes easier to influence in every respect. |
| Code: |
- Again, regards to pinwheel: Focusing on an inner corner of the psiwheel, as opposed to an outer corner; seems to be helpful. |
| Code: |
| - It seems to be easier to set the pinwheel or whatever object I am attempting to spin, slide or rotate and then simply keep it in motion by the use if TK. [The idea of mentioning this came to me after the person below replied; very good technique. Also, this can, at the very least, prove the potential of the object to move in the desired manner, which can be extremely helpful.] |
| Code: |
| - I've found that drowning myself in things that would usually be labeled distractions can sometimes bring about better results than being thoughtless and in a quiet, distraction-free area. Try turning on your music (blast those speakers), turning on the TV, maybe a fan or two, etc. Be sure to compensate for the effects of something such as a fan, while using a psiwheel or another highly sensitive object, by covering it or doing what you will. Note: Try this after undergoing a meditation session, be it long or short. I think I've read about a similar technique at www.fork-you.com |
| Code: |
| - [Got this idea from a friend] Rotating or sliding objects: Scotch tape on the vertex of the pinwheel or any other object you're rotating or sliding helps to reduce friction. Be sure to use the crystal-clear tape, and not that foggy crap. Also, make sure that it's perfectly flat, containing no air pockets. I've only had miniscule results with regards to spinning things other than the psiwheel, but they've been achieved with this method. |
| Code: |
| - If you listen to music on your computer while doing whatever you do, use the visualization called 'scope' in Windows Media Player. Get in a position which you associate with successfully using PK, and let your eyes go out of focus, watching the jagged yellow line dance to the music. If you don't have a position associated with successful use of psychokinesis, get one d00d.
I suggest doing a search on these forums for the recorded sessions by Dick Sutphen. While they may not directly help you, it'll give you a good idea of associating a body posture with being successful. At the very least, it'll boost your confidence level with regard to using PK successfully. I'm sure you could use a varied version of the method to boost your confidence in any respect you wished.
|

- "Just do it".
- If you must, try to just realize that the pinwheel (or, again, whatever object you're using) has the ability and/or the potential to be effected in the desired way. From there, you may be able to perform the "just do it" method. This works well with the method I described above, about influencing direction of the psiwheel and not worrying about actually spinning it of your own accord. |
| Code: |
- This next one is kinda hard to describe... I'll start off with an example:
I know talk of religion is forbidden, but it's not clear to me whether this rule only applies when talking of specific religion or religion in general. However, I feel that, in this case, it's okay, as I'll be vague and unspecific. Having said this, it is still true that I am new to the forums and I'm not entirely sure how the rules are enforced and whatnot. If this is still breaking the rules then call me out on it, and I'll be sure not to do it again...
Those of you who pray to a diety or do anything of similar concept may understand, or, at least, be enlightened to, what I am talking about.
There is always a slight twinge in the back of my mind; an emotion that may take many forms, that isn't directly controlled by my conscious mind. Basically, I consider it the "cold truth" emotion; knowing if I truly, honestly and really believe what I am feeling, thinking, saying or doing. For instance, one who is praying to their diety, who had a traumatic or similar type of experience that tests their faith, may feel this during a session of prayer. You may not consciously think about it during the session, but it is there. You can imagine it literally as a twig, flowing in the river of thoughts in the conscious mind. This twig is being influenced based on my true feeling on the subject. For example: if I don't honestly trust my ability to perform psychokinesis while still telling myself that I can, no matter how hard I try to convince myself that I do believe, this twig will flow in the opposite direction as the current of my thoughts. If I am able to convince myself, the twig will gradually flow in the correct direction. Sometimes I'm able to snap the twig violently, sometimes in two pieces.
Of course, that is all just an analogy, and what I deem as an emotion is up to you to realize and percieve in your own way. It's still a helpful thought, in my opinion, anyway.
For the record, I don't actually percieve it as a twig. I have a sort-of argument in the back of my mind with my conscious. Try to always be sure that the "twig" is "going with the flow". You know if you're decieving yourself. Don't mask this problem; confront and conquer it. |

Music I recommend trying out (marked with an asterisk (*) means the vocals are difficult to understand at times or altogether not present):
Anything by Black Label Society
* Anything by Mannheim Steamroller
* Anything by Gustav Holst
Anything by Sting
Waiting for You by Seal
Any smooth jazz or similar
Six Day War (by DJ Shadow)?
Anything by Children of Bodom
Anything by Lacuna Coil (Great band)
Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin
Anything by Styx
All Hallows Eve by Type O Negative
Some of their other stuff
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen (Defines "XD")
(Techno Remix of) Dragula by Rob Zombie
Living Dead Girl by Rob Zombie
Superbeast by Rob Zombie
Much of Rob Zombie's stuff is pretty good... the above are my favorites so far.
Prayer by Disturbed
Stricken by Disturbed
Get Psycho by Disturbed
Most others by Disturbed; a select few of their works are crappy
* Rein Raus by Rammstein ("Singing" in German; most of their stuff, to me, is fairly comical... but many of my friends apparently enjoy it, so I may as well list it)
Dead Bodies Everywhere by KoRn
ADIDAS by KoRn
Fake by Korn
Most things by KoRn, save a few
* Shadow by Destr?yer 666
* Lone Wolf Winter by Destr?yer 666
* Satan's Hammer by Destr?yer 666
* The Birth of Tragedy by Destr?yer 666
* Damnation's Pride by Destr?yer 666
* Onward to Arktoga by Destr?yer 666
Most of Destr?yer's stuff is good, save the vocals... (yay for death growling?) Their songs that involve more than a minute of vocals at a time are junk.
Confessions by Insane Clown Posse (Funny or stupid depending on your personality if you pay attention to lyrics, good beat nonetheless)
My Axe by Insane Clown Posse (same as above)
Some of the soundtracks to movies, especially techno, such as the tracks to
- Blade
- Resident Evil
- The Matrix
Getting bored of listing music... |

I'll add a few more things to this as they come to me.
I divided everything into little code boxes just to make it easier to differentiate between them. Apparently things like italics don't work while in the code box, so just use that uber-imagination of yours to make it work :>.
If I've made any mistakes feel free to point them out, as I tend to make many mistakes whlie trying to sound that... one thing... 'not stupid'... yeah... |
