I'm glad this new poll was made. Couldn't find the old one. In fact I wanted to make one myself. I recently turned 17. Some of you are much younger than I thought. Many younger folk here seem more mature for their age like me Razz.

You are 23, right? And...I am insulted, Wisdom does not just come from age. I think CD27 said that...but I will also add "Maturity does not just come from age."
It is not our faults for the layouts of our births. It is just the way things are that you are older than us (I speak for the youngins).

I?m 16, and am turning 17 on May 12th, and its going to be the first birthday I?ve had in 3 years that doesn?t fall on an exam date. I?m so happy; I get to relax on my birthday!! And I agree that maturity does not come with age, my town is plagued with 15-19 year olds that act like 5 year olds.

pfft, people just say I'm mature because I'm not rambunctious and don't talk much during class. And I usually am right at things...

Anyways, grade 10, skipped grade 3. And my old school (private) was a grade ahead in Math and French, thus, moving to a private school for grade 9 meant I had 3 electives, and the people in my math class are 2-3 years older than me. I like to scare them with that fact alot.

Man of few words, huh. Same here Smile People think I'm so cool because of it. And I guess they think I'm really mature too. But still goof around a little.

im 15. im also in 10th grade. umm ive never skipped a grade, but ive come really really really danerously close to be umm skipped in reverse lol. TURN IN YOUR HOMEWORK! Very Happy

18, but I'll be turning 19 very soon, in April. Yeah, to be hoinest i'm surprised that so many here are so young.

Oh and shenlon, I know what you mean. My school is full of retarded 18-19 year olds whose only interest in life is going out and getting wasted every single night, and driving around like that. they may be old, but they are completely immature and irresponsible.

eh. my high schools full of people like that as well. i believe there called jocks, sport-Os, Preppy people, Football players, cheer leaders, and every other sport ( excluding marching band or course. YES MARCHING BAND IS A SPORT!)

18, soon to be 19. Just finished my first year of uni today with a bang. Basically 15,000 people skip all their last classes and start partying at 8am then go to an 8 hour concert with bands such as the New Pornographers, The Weakerthans and the Salteens. Best day ever.
