I don't like the idea that people are teaching people how to do mind control. I mean, sure it can help out in life, but some people use it to completely dominate a person and take away their free will. I can see how you can use Mind Control to protect yourself, like if there's a bear after you and you can use mind control to make it go away, but still, it disturbs me to know that there are people out there that want nothing more than controlling everyones mind.

Full mind control seems a bit far fetched, telepathic suggestion is your best bet.
