just a quick poll thing

okay, i recently got myself some specs coz i'm short sighted and i noticed that now that i can see clearly again i feel more in control of things around me (psi based, obviously) but i noticed that i could also manipulated energy better and ping people from further away.

GO ME!!!! Laughing

I don?t wear glasses, but I think I need to now; my eye sight defiantly got a lot worse over the last few years, probably due to the excessive amount of time I spend at a computer. I don?t think it has affected my psi though.

well, there's no way to know untill you go get a pair of spex if you need some. it also depends on what you do psionicly. stuff like long distance pinging and drawing energy from somewhere far away i hnave found much easier ever since i got my pair of glasses.
also, i think if you're still in full time education then you can get the lenses for free, via the NHS (i noticed your location says the UK) and a good, solid pair of frames only costs about ?50.

apparently myopia (short sightedness) is related to intelligence genetically, asi npeople genetically predisposed to short sightedness have a few more points in the ole IQ bin

well if vision were to influence skill in PK, then i would be a natural (or atleast friggen awsome.) I have 20/13 vision and can hit you with a 22. an 8th of a mile away, but my PK skill is pretty limited. I guess the faliure to grasp the 'one skill at a time' rule, that could be most of my downfall.

But, no i do not beleive vision influences skill. You would just visualise with another sense. IE: Blind? You would visualise fire as extreme heat, and mabye a subtle crackling noise. The great thing about the human body, is inferiorness in one sense, makes one or more of the other senses more enhanced.

I wear glasses, I don't think it really effects my psi.

I should start to see if I can heal my vision with psi or at least improve. My vision is slowly falling apart.

I know the feeling, my myopia is quite bad and i gotthe little lecture about the risk of reitnal detachment etc because of it. Not a nice thing - but hey - is life ain't it?

i know I for one secretly harbour the hope that i can cure my eyes with psi, its unrealistic but a guy can dream cant he?

I do not wear glasses...but as others say, over the years it feels my vision has depleted. But I love my senses and have extreme positive thinking over them which has made them better than most peoples. Last time I checked I had perfect vision but I would have to say it has gone down maybe 1 level or so. There are so many things that destroy our vision...there seems to be no way to avoid it. (TV, Computers, Books...etc)

I'm just saying that since i can see things sharper it may have just raised my self esteem so it FEELS like i can perfom manipulation and tp better.
so, maybe Glasses don't correlate to psychic abilities, but they may FEEL that way, and if it feels better, surely you do it better.
(PS:does that make any sense?)
