I would ask you to take the time to read through the following link (and dont worry, no illicit substances are mentioned in this post): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melatonin

Basically, Melatonin is a powerful antioxidant hormone which is produced in the pineal gland of all human beings. It is also responsible for regulating circadian rythms and is thus used as a sleep aid. It has been studied for the treatment of cancer, immune disorders, cardiovascular diseases, depression, and seasonal affective disorder. Fairly amazing nootropic. It has also been linked to maintaining a healthy body weight aswell as the treatment of HIV/AIDS. Melatonin is practically nontoxic and exhibits almost no toxic side effects.

So why am I posting this? Recently I've been taking melatonin supplements at nighttime to reset my sleep habits, and it produces the most lucid dreams i have ever experienced. Full lucidity and functioning senses, aswell as the ability to understand I was dreaming and control my dreams are only a few of the effects I have noticed. Coupled with vitamin B6 and/or Valerian I feel melatonin could be a valuable tool to those who wish to practice psionic activities such as OBE's and Telepathy through lucid dreaming. Has anyone else had any similar experiences?

Just be careful, you don't want to become dependent on them.

i have taken them and wouldnt really recomend them. other factors in your brain, such as dopeamine are also affected by melatonin.

i would recomend "Hyland" Calms Forte homeopathic sleep remedy.

if melatonin works for you, go ahead and use it; but not for months Wink

oh... if your under like 16, i wouldn't take 'em Crying or Very sad
