Questions

paintballjunkieq asks on April 14, 2005, 5:07pm:

Hi, I'm new here, and I was wondering, how do you feel the psi-balls? What do they feel like?

(editted for grammatical structure, punctuations, and spelling)

SunTzu replies on April 18, 2005, 12:47pm:

You feel a psi-ball the same way that you would feel any other object. If you were to feel the wall, you would put your hand to it. To feel a psi-ball, put your hand on it. Simple.

UberDarkTenks asks on April 10, 2005, 2:25pm:

Ok, I've been able to take energy from the sun, feel sensation and magnetic pull, blahblahblah...

What I do since I know that I can feel my psi-balls?

What's next?

SunTzu replies on April 11, 2005, 4:55pm:

Think of a goal that you want to accomplish, and go for it. Think of a construct that you wish to make, such as a cube, or an effect that you wish to have, such as making it feel hot or sticky. Use it in a healing practice.
Use it how you want, but come up with your own goals (many people want to 'flare', others want to heal, do what you want)

brunks asks on April 10, 2005, 11:09pm:

This was the first time I tried to make a psiball and it kind of felt like trying to push ends of a magnet together each time my hands got closer together. It felt like they were repeling(sp?) eachother. I just wanted to know if I was actually making one or not. Thank you.

Rainsong replies on April 11, 2005, 11:55am:

Probably.

Lucky13 asks on March 18, 2005, 11:11pm:

hey,

i was wondering if there's a type of shield where physical as well as psionic attacks could be reflected back at an attacker.

thanks

Yumper replies on April 8, 2005, 11:32am:

The best chances of that happening would be from a force bubble.

Pedro asks on March 28, 2005, 8:46pm:

hey ive heard a game called pass on the costruct
how do you play it and how do they know what it is

Neowen asks on March 29, 2005, 10:22pm:

This is actually a few questions. Whether or not you can answer the later ones depends on if the answer to the first one is 'yes'.
1-Have you done any experiments to determine whether or not the psiball sensation is simply a placebo effect? That is, something we feel because we expect to feel it?
2-How were the experiments conducted?
3-What were the results?

Yumper replies on April 8, 2005, 11:25am:

1/2/3 - Play a game of pass the construct. One person creates the construct and programs it to have a different colour/texture/temperature/anyotherquality. The receiver then has to interpret the sensations and report back to the sender. I have personally had some great results when playing this game. I do not believe the sensations to be merely a placebo effect.

Pedro asks on April 5, 2005, 9:12pm:

when i try to do a psiball i feel a tingling feeling in my hands but when i tell a person to feel it they dont feel anything

Yumper replies on April 8, 2005, 11:23am:

You can't just force someone into feeling a construct. Most times unless they are also ready for the construct, they won't feel it. If you want a friend to feel the psiball tell them to relax, concentrate and take note of any changes!

Clawkane asks on April 5, 2005, 10:57pm:

I'm aware I'm a noob, but, what are constructs? Am I missing somthing or are they just regular psi balls?

Rainsong replies on April 6, 2005, 11:43am:

There's nothing wrong with being a "noob".

Psiballs are one variety of construct. There are many. A psionic construct is "something" made of psi-stuff. The something can be a little psishape such as a ball, cube or dodecahedron. Or, it can be shaped like a puppy and made to wander around after its owner, wagging its tail. Most varieties of Shields are also constructs. The complexity of a construct is limited only by the psionicist's skill, really.
